Westin Homes Backs Venture Racing and Leffler at 2006 Chili Bowl

West Caldwell, New Jersey – November 30th – Although Jason Leffler has enjoyed success in NASCAR’s premier divisions, he still thrives on the competitive wheel-to-wheel racing that can only be found in a midget. Leffler’s prowess behind the wheel has earned him victories in midget racing’s biggest events—including a recent victory in the 2005 midget portion of the “Turkey Night” Grand Prix. Despite his overwhelming success, the one piece of hardware needed to round out his open wheel trophy case requires a victory in the prestigious Chili Bowl.

Signing on as a sponsor of Venture Racing’s entry for Jason Leffler will be a company that is also familiar with success in open wheel racing—Westin Homes, a Phoenix based builder of high-end homes. Owned by husband and wife, John and Shawnee Grau, Westin Homes has become a recognized name in midget racing, most recently helping their 2005 driver, Brad Kuhn, earn the National Midget Driver of the Year award. “We are coming off a tremendous year that included 10 wins, quick time at the Belleville Nationals and most recently the National Midget Driver of the Year award. I can’t think of a better way to kick off the 2006 season than trying to help Venture Racing and Jason capture a victory at the Chili Bowl,” commented John Grau.

Venture Racing’s Westin Home’s entry will feature a Spike Chassis, powered by an Esslinger powerplant. For more information on Westin Homes and the entire 2006 Venture Racing Chili Bowl team, visit www.venture-racing.com or contact Bob Trafford at bobt@venture-racing.com.
